Estimation of real estate is the process of calculating the estimated price or value of real estate or other assets for a particular purpose.

Purpose and relevant circumstances determine suitable assumptions and facts and, therefore, the process used.

Real estate objects include buildings, structures, unfinished construction objects, living quarters (houses, apartments, and cottages), land plots, forests, and perennial plantations.

The Civil Code of the Russian Federation includes air and sea vessels, vessels of inland navigation and space objects to real estate, although in fact they are vehicles.
